We've sat in the founder's chair — the firm's principal built a legal-tech venture and stood up a manufacturer's legal function as its first general counsel. That operator's eye goes to work on founder and shareholder disputes, HR guardrails, and the contracts that keep momentum from outrunning the paperwork. Recent work runs from defending an employer through a harassment complaint to representing a telecommunications startup in federal court.

We work both sides of the condominium table — for associations, and for the unit owners across from them. When a condominium association sued four retiree unit owners under RICO for raising safety questions after Surfside, the firm's principal defended them. His condo-dispute commentary has run in The Real Deal, the Daily Business Review, and Law360. The docket covers the property waterfront: purchase-and-sale and broker-commission fights, construction and lien disputes — including a lien foreclosure against a firm client dismissed with prejudice — and a foreclosure defense that ended with a family still in its home. The docket also includes a dismissal — with fee entitlement — for a unit owner in a right-of-first-refusal fight, and a condominium association’s constitutional challenge to a beachfront town’s ordinance, resolved by settlement.

Restaurants and food businesses run on thin margins, handshake habits, and vendors who know it. We've litigated what follows — food-distribution, vendor, and lease disputes for South Florida operators in Miami-Dade and Broward — and we serve as outside general counsel, aiming to catch the next dispute in the contract instead of the courtroom.

We built software before we litigated about it — the firm's principal founded a legal-tech startup and has published on e-discovery, digital evidence, and spoliation in Law.com and Lexology. In federal court, his trial team used digital forensics to prove the other side had intercepted privileged emails; the court struck the opposing papers and granted partial summary judgment as a sanction. Today: trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and disputes whose evidence lives on servers.

The firm's principal spent years as general counsel of a global consumer-products manufacturer — FDA inspections, recalls, tariff fights, supply deals with global beauty brands. In litigation, he represented a chemical manufacturer challenging a city's rezoning of the land next to its plant — the court invalidated the rezoning. We know the factory floor as well as the courtroom.

We have taken on six Florida municipalities — and served inside government too: the firm's principal is an elected Parkland City Commissioner and a former New York Assistant Attorney General. In Natural Lands v. City of Boca Raton, he first-chaired a five-day federal bench trial; the court declared city officials disqualified for bias and recognized the client's vested right to build. The trial judgment was later reversed on appeal on procedural grounds, and the U.S. Supreme Court denied review. He was also counsel of record for the Town of Southwest Ranches when the Fourth District Court of Appeal affirmed dismissal of a neighboring city’s suit against the Town. He has also prevailed on a contested eligibility challenge in a state political party's leadership election — sustained 5–0 by the party's subcommittee.
